StabilisationStabilisation is used to harden soft soil layers. In addition, stabilisation reduces land subsidence. This effect is achieved by mixing the right amount of binder with the soil. The binder is generally lime, cement or a mixture of these.
The most natural applications of mass stabilisation are the embankments of roads, streets and railways as well as different yard and storage areas, where the thickness of the stabilised soil layers is a few metres. By stabilising contaminated soils, e.g. in harbour areas, the stabilised material (dredged sludge or mud) can be re-used for example to built a container areas. With stabilisation the contaminated soil is encapsulated into a solid slate preventing the pollution from dissolving in to the environment.
ALLU Stabilisation System is a Finnish invention that provides a fast, cost-effective and environmental-friendly working method for hardening and dynamic strengthening of soft soils as well as for improving the soil’s deformation properties. ALLU Stabilisation System is also well suited for processing contaminated soil masses.
ALLU Stabilisation System consists of three parts. ALLU PF pressure feeder / ALLU PFM pressure feeder mobile pumps the binder into the ground, ALLU PM power mix, a unit mounted onto the excavator, mixes the binder into the soil and ALLU DAC. measures, controls and reports the stabilisation process.
ALLU Screener Crusher is an efficient accessory for an excavator or wheel loader. It facilitates the pre-processing, screening and mixing of binder into the spoil pile to be stabilised. Stabilisation and screening directly to the pipe trench can also be used as a work method. |
