- Economical crisis did not affect the people responsible of purchases

The International Mass Stabilisation Conference held October 8.-10. in Finland filled the Sibelius Hall and ALLU Finland Oy's premises. Visitors from 20 different countries were very interested in the presentations held both in the Sibelius Hall and in the ALLU factory. There were no indications of the economical crisis -at least in the amount of interest.

The conference presented the mass stabilisation method taking in to the consideration geotechnics, project planning, equipments and different kinds of financing opportunities. Mass stabilisation conference was all about the latest technology, research information and the achievements in practice. ALLU Finland Oy took care of the practice part. Majority of the conference visitors gathered to the premises of ALLU Finland Oy which developes, manufactures and markets mass stabilisation equipment. During this excursion the pioneer of manufacturing mass stabilisation systems presented the equipment in live demo.    

"Very successful event", summarizes ALLU Finland Oy's Sales and Marketing Director Mr. Pekka Kiukkonen. ALLU Finland Oy was the first one to launch complete mass stabilisation equipment world wide and has been delivering them around the world for a several years. The last big order went to Brazil where several complete systems were sold. The mass stabilisation method is yet quite unknown and this conference was a good channel in order to increase the knowledge about the method among the people in charge of purchasing, experts on geotechnics and constructors. For example, ALLU Finland Oy received visitors from Italian Ministry of the Environment.

Despite of the economical crisis that has been going on lately, Mr. Kiukkonen sees the future bright: "The conference created a base for the future projects. The live demo of the ALLU stabilisation system opened people's eyes to see how cost effective and easy stabilisation can be with the equipment we provide." Although at the moment worlds financial market is unstable, it hasn't infected ALLU Finland Oy's business. Decision times for bigger investments have increased but there has been no major collapse.
