More than 145 000 people from all over the world gathered to dazzling Las Vegas for the ConExpo 2008. This largest trade show in North America of any industry was very successful for ALLU, the world market leader of screener crushers and mass stabilisation equipment.

The very first of them all

ALLU Finland Ltd. designs, manufactures and markets high-quality products for environmental and earthmoving technology. The product range consists of various accessories for wheel loaders and excavators. The main products are screener crushers, stabilisation systems and compacting plates.

The very first ALLU Screener Crusher was sold to USA fifteen years ago and since the ALLU label has actively shared the markets of the States. Yet there are many fields to conquer. "It is very important for us to arrange demo shows at the stand, so that people can see in action the possibilities that ALLU has to offer", explains Mr. Kauko Pylväs, Managing Director of ALLU Finland Ltd. Many contacts were made and that only shows that the market for ALLU products exists.

More effective working method is the key

The recent discussions about the regressive economical situation didn't show at the ConExpo nor at the ALLU stand. Especially for the last few years ALLU has increased its presence and sales volumes in USA strongly. The key is in providing the local contractors more effective working methods with ALLU products.

At ConExpo ALLU introduced in a live demo its ALLU Screener Crusher product line. For the first time at North America's market also new ALLU VP Compacting Plate and ALLU PG Pipe Grapple were demonstrated. Another new product at the ALLU stand was Oil Quick quick coupler for excavators and wheel loaders. With Oil Quick the operator can change a hydraulic attachment from the cabin of the base machine. In that case all the steps e.g. at the pipeline jobsite can be done with only one base machine.

ALLU introduced at stand also a complete ALLU mass stabilisation equipment which consist of PM power mixer, PF pressure feeder and DAC control system.
